1. Add Dependency Task in "Blocked by" to a Task
The "Blocked by" feature allows users to specify a task as blocked by another task. This means that the dependent task cannot be started or completed until the blocking task is finished. When the blocking task is marked as complete, the dependent task becomes unblocked and can be started or completed.
- At least one dependent task must exist before adding to the "Blocked by" section
- Select a task in a project. The task modal page opens.
- Click the + button at the right corner of the Blocked by section
- A modal will open. Click in the description box or the down arrow button from here.
- A list of tasks will collapse down.
- Select the task from the list or write the name in the description box to find the specific one.
- You can add multiple tasks.
- After adding the tasks, click the save button to save.
